Privacy Policy

1. Overview
GetAffilert is a business-to-business software service that helps brands monitor compliance risks in promotional content created by their affiliates, influencers, publishers, and other promotional partners. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, how we use it, and the controls available to you. It applies to the GetAffilert web application and related services (the Service).
GetAffilert is intended for use by organizations and their authorized team members. The Service is not directed to individual consumers or to children.
2. Information we process
Depending on how your organization uses the Service, we process the following categories of data:
- Account and authentication data. Your email address and authentication credentials, managed through our authentication provider. Passwords are never stored in readable form.
- Organization and team data. Organization name and settings, team membership, roles, and invitations you send or accept.
- Compliance inventory. Records you create about brands, products, partners, promotional sources, and the custom and regulatory rules you configure.
- Imported data. Information you upload through CSV imports, such as partner and source lists.
- Monitored content and evidence. Content captured from the public sources you add for monitoring, including page text, optional screenshots, detected findings, occurrences, and preserved evidence records used to document compliance issues.
- Usage, log, and security data. Audit events, scan and usage metering, and security signals such as rate-limit counters (which store only a hashed identifier, never a raw address).
- Cookies and session data. Cookies required for authentication and for remembering your active organization. See the Cookies section below.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and secure the Service.
- To perform the monitoring, detection, and reporting functions you request.
- To manage accounts, organizations, team access, and permissions.
- To maintain an audit trail and enforce usage limits and security controls.
- To communicate with you about the Service, including transactional notifications.
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your active organization. These cookies are set with security attributes appropriate to their purpose. We do not use the Service to serve third-party advertising.
5. Service providers
We rely on a small number of third-party providers to operate the Service, which may include infrastructure and database hosting, background job processing, content retrieval, automated content analysis, transactional email, and payment processing. Several of these integrations are disabled by default and are used only when your organization or GetAffilert explicitly enables them. Providers act as processors on our behalf and are expected to handle data consistent with their obligations. We do not sell your data.
6. Data retention
We retain organization and compliance data for as long as your organization maintains an active account or as needed to provide the Service. Evidence and audit records may be retained for longer where they support the integrity of compliance history. Retention periods will be finalized as part of legal review; contact us for specific requests.
7. Security
We apply organization-level access controls so that data is isolated to the organization that owns it, transmit data over encrypted connections, and restrict privileged database access to trusted server processes. Security-sensitive identifiers are hashed before storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and controls
Organization administrators can manage team members, roles, and much of the data their organization stores directly within the Service. For access, correction, export, or deletion requests that cannot be completed in-app, contact us using the details below. Where required by applicable law, additional rights may be available to you following legal review.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
