Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 6 July 2026

1. Purpose and scope

GetAffilert (the Service) helps organizations monitor compliance risks in promotional content created by their affiliates, influencers, publishers, and other promotional partners. This Acceptable Use Policy sets out how the Service may and may not be used. It applies to every organization, team member, and administrator that accesses the Service and supplements the Terms of Service.

2. Permitted use

The Service is intended for legitimate business use: monitoring the promotional content of partners you work with, reviewing detected findings, tracking issues, preserving evidence, and reporting on the compliance of your own partner program. You are responsible for the brands, products, partners, sources, rules, and URLs you add, and for ensuring you have a legitimate business basis to monitor them.

3. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Monitor content that you have no legitimate business interest in, or to conduct unlawful surveillance, harassment, or profiling of individuals.
  • Add sources or URLs that require authentication, bypass access controls or paywalls, or that you are not permitted to access.
  • Attempt to overload, disrupt, or degrade the Service, or to circumvent usage quotas, rate limits, plan entitlements, or organization-isolation controls.
  • Access, or attempt to access, data belonging to another organization, or probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without written authorization.
  • Upload, import, or store content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, or that you do not have the right to provide.
  • Reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.
  • Treat the Service’s automated detections, findings, or reports as legal advice or as a guarantee that content is compliant. Human review and qualified counsel remain your responsibility.

4. Responsible monitoring

Monitoring runs against the public sources you configure and is subject to the usage limits of your plan. The Service applies rate limiting and quotas to protect the platform and third-party sites. You must not use the Service to scrape at abusive volumes, to evade the technical terms of the sites you monitor, or in any way that would place an unreasonable load on those sites or their operators.

5. Account responsibility

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your organization and for keeping credentials secure. Administrators are responsible for the team members they invite and the roles they assign. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access or misuse.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or restrict access to protect the Service, its users, or third parties. Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of an organization’s access, consistent with the Terms of Service and applicable law.

7. Reporting abuse

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
